Island Bay/Shell Beach is a small coarse sand beach that offers a beautiful view of Island Bay and recreational boating activity. You can launch a kayak from here .It has great views and is popular for clamming, but you’ll need a permit for that. It’s close to town and a nice spot for relaxing and meditating, bird watching or collecting...well... shells !
We discovered this place while placing caches for the GFFE summer event "Discover the treasures of Guilford"
We liked it so much, that we decided to keep a cache here.
