Geocache Description:

On top of embankment between housing and reclaimed forest.Small camo'd lock'n'lock.

In 1998 when the Daybells estate was built in Moira the developers included plans for a railway station and car park as part of the prospective Ivanhoe line from Leciester to Burton-upon-Trent, later renamed as the Heart of the Forest line. The line remaines closed to passenger traffic and no station has been built. Very occasional freight trains use the line.
The cache can be reached from Moira Furnace or Conkers Waterside by following the Newfield and Stonepit walk.
Moira can be reached by bus from Burton or Ashby and in the summer the open top forest tour call here.
The house through the trees is the Grizzly Den.
