One Sweet World Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Cache-tech: As there's been no cache to find for a long time, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

Nine planets round the sun
Only one does the sun embrace
Upon this watered one
So much we take for granted
So let us sleep outside tonight
Lay down in our mothers arms
For here we can rest safely

We discovered this beautiful location last year while they were still doing some work on this section of the East Coast Trail.

A few weeks ago, Gilligan and I were on a drive to Cape Spear placing some new geocaches. We were listening to my favourite band, the Dave Matthews Band and this particular song stuck out at us. We thought, "Hey! One Sweet World! We should place a cache with this name!" But we also knew that if we were going to place a cache with this name, that it should be somewhere that was incredibly beautiful, a place where you can go and appreciate how amazing our natural surroundings are.

It's so often we take things for granted, running around with our busy lives, never taking the time to stop and smell the roses, or I guess in this case - to listen to the sea birds, hear the waves crash on the sand, and just listen to all the awesome things nature has to give us. Take this little hike and enjoy!
