Didling Church is almost entirely early English, dating from the
first part of the 13th century, but stands on far more ancient
foundations. Traces of Norman and Saxon work are incorporated into
the building. The Saxon font is made of Bracklesham stone and is
one of the oldest in the country.
The black oak benches and beams are pre-reformation - early 15th
century.
