Let's Go Golfin' Traditional Geocache
WarNinjas: Hate to archive this one as it was adopted from a great guy. However the location has been fenced off and the available surrounding area says not to disturb as it is under renovation. :(

Let's Go Golfin'
Golden Gate Park Golf Course, a nine-hole, par 3 course tucked in the northwest corner of the park, might be the Bay Area's best place for a beginner to become acquainted with the game. And established players will appreciate the opportunity to practice their shorter game on a course that, for its humility, still manages to create interesting challenges.
Nine short holes tucked among eucalyptus and pine--often sloped, and ranging from short to miniature--come to grow on you over time. However, get ready to duck--the higher proportion of novices in a less etiquette-conscious environment can result in the odd golf ball ambush. Greens and fairways often show a bit of wear and tear, but the peaceful setting still manages to provide moments of real beauty.
This cache contains an irwinSports pathtag for FTF.
Congratulations to TomAmes on FTF.
