Geocache Description:

Come join us at Lettuce Lake Park on Wednesday, September 9th at 5:30 PM to celebrate the 1000th find for WW.Wilma and Lost It 2.

In early 2007, Yuzawa Kat and Lost It 2 started caching on Wednesdays after work. By the second outing, YK had coined EGGNO, which stands for E.xciting G.eocaching G.irls N.ight O.ut. Not long after EGGNO got started, an extra “G” for Guys or Guests was occasionally added, which is now the norm. WW.Wilma has become a regular and, during a recent EGGGNO adventure, we discovered how close we were to both our 1000th milestone find. Naturally, we had to have a geo event.

This GeoEvent is on 9/9/09 and it will be the #999 find for us. We didn’t plan it this way; just an observation. We plan on doing the Lettuce Lake EarthCache for our #1000 find.

 The posted coords are for Shelter #6 near the Hillsborough River.

BIG CHANGE You must walk past Shelter #5 it's dry all around (which I hope to secure for the event) to get to Shelter #6(which is completely surrounded by water).

We can meet and greet for about a half hour before setting off to cache. There will be some light refreshments and drinks. Several caches are already in the park, but keep in mind the park closes shortly before dusk, now considered to be 6:30 PM by the Park Rangers. Hope you can join us!
