Known locally as the centre stone beacause it is reputed to mark the centre of the Island.
It is granite quarried from the Mont Mado area of St John.
The stone was possibly brought here from a nearby Megalithic monument which had been lost or destroyed.
See if you can see the circular hollow on the surface thought to be a cup mark.
Please ensure the cache has been put back carefully, just as you found it.
