Located between Initial Creek Campground and the trailhead at the end of the road.
Not hard to find just takes a little time to get there. We took the 4 wheeler up for an afternoon drive. You go south on Primary 78 from Columbus past Absarokee. Turn onto Highwy 419 until you get to the Stillwater Mine. Take the Forest Service road up toward the Initial Creek Campground. There are people that drive up here in cars and trucks but the road is mostly one lane and rough. There's a $10 for the FTF.
