Robbinsdale Forest Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

momof6furrballs: After a period of reflection and soul searching, we've decided to let this go. It was our first hide, but like everything, caches are born, they live, and they move on to bigger and better things. This area just isn't the same anymore, it's been groomed and thinned out, it really isn't that much of a "forest" anymore, and there really isn't a decent place to keep this going and yet maintain the integrity of the hide without changing the whole setup. So we're opening up the spot for anyone else who wants it, including that guy from Pennsylvania. [;)]

Thanks to all that looked and found it over the years.

Cheers!

Geocache Description:

Located in Robbinsdale Park off Fairmont Avenue, west of the BMX track and north of the Little League complex.

This is our first cache. It is a camo'd waterproof match container bison tube.

This cache is located deep inside the small wooded "forest" at the northwest corner of Robbinsdale Park. There are a couple of parking options nearby, and it is only a short walk to the cache. There is no room for trade items. This is a log only, so bring your own pencil or pen. Please put the cache back as you found it.

During the summer months the tree and leaf density overhead is quite thick in this area, making the exact GPS coordinates tough. Use your GeoSense. It's right there in front of you.

Occasionally, some stealth may be required, but you should pretty much have the place to yourself.
