A cache near the village Kavusi where an olive tree 3250 years old stands.
The cache is located at the place where maybe the oldest olive tree in Crete stands. It is about 2 kms after the village of Kavousi. As you are coming from Agios Nicolaos at the end of the village you will see a sign to kavousi ancient olive tree. There are signs all over the road so you can't miss it. The cache is hidden close to the tree . The tree is counted 3250 years old. The crown of the winner othe women marathon at the Athens Olympic games was made from its leaves.
