A circular walk which takes you to the Battle of Maldon site. Complete walk takes about 40 mins. Can be very muddy in winter.
The site of the Battle of Maldon is on National Trust land near Northey Island, a haven for birds and other wildlife on the Blackwater Estuary. Parking is available at the near by Promanade Park. A small cache in a camo bag. Contains log book, pen, shells, coins, Pokemon Dragon and keyring torch. We have also placed a help for hero's Geocoin in the cache.
