All travelers need a place to
rest during their long journeys. What better place than
Oscar’s TB Bed &
Breakfast prepared
just for them?!
Lots of travel bugs and geocoins
seem to become dormant in caches that aren’t easily accessible to
geocachers just passing through the area. Located just off I-270
not far from the Roberts Road exit ramp,
Oscar’s is designed to be a quick find
so that travelers can easily be dropped off or picked
up.
This Bed & Breakfast is
intended to assist in the movement of travel bugs and geocoins
toward their goals. The rules are pretty basic. If you can help a
traveler move toward its goal, take it and do so. If you have a
traveler that needs to be placed so that it will be moved again
soon, this is where you’ll want to place it! The main goal is to
keep the TBs and coins moving!!! It is hoped that
many guests will frequent Oscar’s. He
would love to always have a full inn, but if you find all of the
rooms empty, it’s because his clients are visiting other parts of
the world right now. If a traveler checks out, please be sure to
log that it has hitched a ride with you to its next destination.
That can be done following Groundspeak guidelines on the
“trackables” page
(link) of
geocaching.com. This is an important
step… otherwise the travelers could be lost to
their owners. They are all called “TRACKABLES” for a
reason. If you have any questions or problems with logging those
trackables to which you’ve decided to give a ride, please email us
and we will help you.
