Zicke Zacke, Zicke Zacke, Hoi Hoi Hoi !!!!!! Get out your Lederhosen und Dirndls and have some fun at the 41th Kitchener Waterloo Oktoberfest!
This is our 11th C.R.E.W. event.
You have a night of Oktoberfest ahead of you. You can practise your Polka Skills, do the Geotalk, have some food and of course a good old german beer!
Is there anything better than to celebrate someones German Heritage with their geocaching friends????
The event will be held on Tuesday October 13th at Concordia Club in Kitchener on 429 Ottawa Street South and will start around 6 pm.
The Concordia Club is Canada's largest German Club. Oktoberfest in Kitchener is the second largest in the world.
There will be a Trivia contest but be ready for some non caching questions. Better brush up on your German and Food related facts and terms.
These C.R.E.W. events are always a big success and its a great place to meet old and new friends from our geocaching family!
Last year we had a full house and we all were singing a few:

This event is held at the "weinstube"
There is ample parking but please don't drink and drive!!!
There will be a full Oktoberfest Menu available and as the Chef told me it's all authentic German Fair! So, if you don't like Sauerkraut, Bratwurst, Pigtails, Cabbage Rolls, Schnitzel, Sauerbraten or Rouladen, Dumplings or Applestrudel and Black Forest Torte than you better eat before you enter the event!
There is a limit of about 50-60 seats in the Weinstube, but there could be a "overflow" into the Schenke! So sign up soon!
This event will fill up really fast!!

The Weistube is now full but the Schenke has lots of space open. I just reserved some more tables outside the meeting room and we will leave the sliding door open and we all can be one happy geocaching family!!
