WWFM VI - Pass the Parcel Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Tealby: I'm most remiss for not archiving this event sooner - I think there were a couple of attendee logs I was still waiting for (T20, Kahia 5 & Badja Jnr) - I'm not sure if they all have caching identities though.

Geocache Description:

Yes - it's WWFM time again... (that's World Wide Flash Mob for the uninitiated)

When: 10.00 - 10.15 am (Sat 14th Nov)
Check your GPSrs for the accurate start time - you should not approach the listed coords until exactly 10am.
The event lasts for 15 mins only - be there during the designated time & sign the log or miss out!

Wear: Something bright & colourful - in keeping with a party atmosphere.

Why: Be part of a world wide event & come along for your chance to play a game from your childhood & win!

Where: At the designated time cachers are to assemble at the posted coords (well - it may be a little thorny there, so we will form a big circle around the roses).

How: The parcel will be passed around, accompanied by appropriate geocaching "music". When the music stops, the person holding the parcel is to quickly rip off one layer of paper & then get the parcel moving again. There will be a pathtag or other small prize on each layer. The aim of the game is speed - we only have 15 mins & we have to get a group photo too. Once you have won a prize you leave the circle & form up ready for the photo.

Who: The attendance log sheet will follow the parcel around the circle. I'm hoping that this WWFM will surpass the previous WWFM attendance record, so please bring along as many people as possible! Muggle guests are welcome.

If anyone would like to donate a pathtag to the parcel, please see me in advance of the event. I also have a great unactivated Caching Critters GC that I found after Lucy & Roo visited Canberra, so that will also go into the parcel.

After the event all geocachers are to leave the vicinity promptly. However, there will be an opportunity to meet up again nearby to mingle & chat a bit more for those who wish to do so. If you are planning to attend, please put this cache on your watchlist so you can be kept up to date with any last minute information about the event.

Please Note: Given the short duration of this event, it is not suitable for exchanging trackable items.
