Celebrating Arizona's 9th Geocaching anniversary on the most
ironic day possible.
That's right folks, 9 years ago exactly, Dan Rich placed the first
Geocache in Arizona.
The posted coordinates are in the park, but the event will be held
at the ramada starting at 6PM at the following coordinates:
N33 19.770 W111 50.025
Multi-Event 9-9-09 Geocoins have been ordered and will be available
at the event.
There will be a Flash Mob "photo-activity" at the posted 999's
coordinates at 9:09PM.
There has been a change in plans for the food. Pizza will be
supplied at the event. Feel free to bring any additional food items
you would like to share. We will also be supplying ice chest with
water bottles.
