I really wanted to put a cache up the Threemile Creek trail, but wilderness area starts a very short way up the trail, so I settled on the parking lot.
The coordinates were jumping really bad, so if you end up in the parking area wandering in circles, use the hint.
EXPECT DELAYS!!! Guanella Pass road (Park County 62) will be CLOSED to the public from 8-11 am and from 1-3 pm, M-F and 30 min delays outside the closure time.
The following areas affected by construction:
CLOSED - Geneva Creek Picnic Ground (PG), Whiteside Campground (CG), Duck Creek PG and dispersed camping within the construction area along the Guanella Pass corridor and the first 1.5 miles of FSR119.
Day parking ONLY or CLOSED if Trailhead (TH) is under construction - Threemile TH, Abyss/Burning Bear TH
OPEN - Burning Bear CG and Geneva Park CG
Mt. Bierstadt/Square Top – alternative access from Georgetown.
