Like many of you, Chris had already heard the stories. He heard
the story about James who found a match with a
Café Babe. And he heard the story about Pete who
found a match with an Art Babe. But although he was
also a bit of a geek, cafés and art museums were not the places
Chris would typically be found. He was a man of the world, and he
liked to travel to exotic locales, learn about the local culture
and language, and dine on the ethnic cuisine. But finding a partner
with matching tastes was difficult. So he was excited when he was
browsing an online relationship site and saw the following
posting:
Name: Esoteric Babe
Likes: Traveling the world, visiting the smallest towns and remote
villages
Dislikes: Sitting around in overly-franchised coffee shops
Special interests: Studying esoteric languages and dialects
Favorite foods: Alligator Steak, Turtle Soup, Ostrich Egg Omelets,
and Wildebeest Hash.
Wildebeest Hash? Chris wondered if that was the same thing as
the Gnu Beef scramble he had eaten that time he was in Gimbichu. If
so, he had to agree that was one if the best ethnic meals he had
ever tasted. This woman seemed like just the person he was looking
for, so he quickly replied to her profile:
Dear Esoteric Babe,
It seems like we have multiple matching interests. After you read
my profile, I think you'll agree. If so, I look forward to having
dinner with you tonight. Hope to see you here!
Chris

That night Chris anxiously waited to see if she would show up,
but his concerns were unfounded. The Esoteric Babe arrived, they
had a wonderful meal together, and afterwards they hid a cache to
celebrate their newly formed relationship.
