Gondramaz distingue-se pela tonalidade específica do xisto que nos envolve da cabeça aos pés. Até o chão que se pisa é exemplo da melhor arte de trabalhar artesanalmente a pedra. Esta é, aliás, terra de artesãos cujas mãos hábeis criam figuras carismáticas que são marca da serra e que levam consigo o nome do mestre e da aldeia além-fronteiras.

Situada na vertente ocidental da Serra da Lousã, a paisagem que envolve Gondramaz é uma obra de arte da Natureza. Há nas ruas desta Aldeia uma fina acústica que nos desperta todos os sentidos. Dentro das suas ruas a voz das pessoas torna-se mais nítida e convidativa. São pessoas que partilham a comunhão e a versatilidade de uma nova opção de vida cheia de “garra” e de sonho.
