This park is fairly new. It has a nice mountain bike trail which
loops around X Lake for four miles and provides great views of the
lakes and surrounding hills. I recommend biking, running, or hiking
the whole loop. The park is a day use area, so do not attempt the
cache at night.
Directions: Take the Talkeetna Spurr Road to mile 12, then turn on
Comsat road, and right after this turn right again where there is a
wooden sign. Park here, and follow the gravel road until it ends.
When you come to the mountain bike trail near the boat dock, go
right.
There is a $3 parking fee.
