Geocache Description:

This cache is the first stop on the Charlbury Circular Walk (No.2 - Oxon Way) designated by the Oxfordshire County Council. Details can be found on the CCW-Bonus page.

On the way to this cache from the town center, you follow the tarmac road down Pound Hill in the direction of Spelsbury. On the hill itself, the road is narrow without a decent verge, so exercise care to avoid speeding cars and cyclists. There are often cows, sometimes with a bull, in the nearby field on the way to the next cache so timid cachers or those with dogs or small children may want to take evasive action. There is a road running along the south side of the fence at the bottom of the field.

The cache is a small loc&loc box with a logbook - no pencil! Please hide the cache at least as well as you have found it. Slight hazard warning! Watch out for a bit of barbed wire in the general area of the cache.
