Czech - Bavarian Geopark
Cesko-Bavorský Geopark je ukázkovým územím s projevy ???? milionu let trvajících geologických procesu podél významné struktury tzv. Oherského prolomu.Tato príkopová propadlina je geologicky nejaktivnejší oblastí Ceského masivu.Ackoliv nejmohutnejší geologické projevy v ní ustaly pred ???? miliony let,pretrvávající tektonika,vulkanismus,vysoký tepelný tok,vývery termálních vod i seismická aktivita nadále lákají pozornost laiku i odborníku.Geologické jednotky lemující prolom dokumentují pres ???? milionu let starou historii Zeme a její neobycejné nerostné bohatství.Všechny tyto procesy daly tvár dnešní krajine,která je naším domovem.Naucme se ji chápat !
Pískovna ERIKA
Pískovna ERIKA je nejlépe odkrytým profilem starosedelského souvrství,které je v Sokolovské pánvi nejstarší sedimentální jednotkou.Vznikalo ve starších tretihorách v prostredí rícních toku a melkých jezer.Proto v nem prevažují šterky a písky,které byly nekde zpevneny na slepence a pískovce.V prostoru pískovny má souvrství celkovou mocnost 22m,predmetem težby bylo svrchních 12m nad hladinou podzemní vody . . .
Logovat mužete hned a odpovedi posílejte prosím pres e-mail,predmet : EC ERIKA.Prosím uvádejte i svuj nick.Nezapomente k logu pridat bohužel již nepovinné foto podle fotohintu tedy vás pouze pred infotabulí! Pak nelpím na odpovedích.V prípade nejasností se ozvu.Ovsem pokud budete mit na haku i tyto dve varianty,budu mit na háku ja vas bod.
Kdo se nechce fotit odpovezte krátce na otázky :
1 . Vyjmenujte zde žijícího zástupce fauny.
2 . Vyjmenujte zde rostoucího zástupce flóry.
3 . Napište stárí prolomu.
4 . Popište vznik tohoto prolomu.
Zaparkovat vozidlo lze v tesné blízkosti souradnic infotabule .... a vase kola kdekoli v piskovne ;-)
Fotografie a souhlas se zverejnenim poskytla Castorka ktere timto dekuji. To nejvetsi podekovani ji ovsem patri za milou spolecnost behem uzasneho vyletu karlovarskem a sokolovskem na kolech .

Sand Quarry ERIKA
The ERIKA Sand Quarry is the most exposed section of the Staré Sedlo formation,which is the oldest sedimentary unit in the Sokolov Basin.It was formed in the early Tertiary Period in fluvial streams and shallow lakes and therefore contains primarily gravel and sand,which was consolidated in places forming conglomerates and sandstone.The formation in the sand quarry has an overall thickness of 22m (72 ft.).The top 12m (39 ft.) above the ground water level were subjected to extraction . . .
