Come join us for a day of fun and geocaching!
To celebrate the 2009 Geocaching Adventure Series. We're hosting a picnic at the Indian Springs Metropark in Waterford, Michigan. There is a shelter, picnic tables, restrooms and a playground. The shelter does not have electricity. There is no alcohol allowed at this event.
The 2009 Geocaching Adventure series is a series of family-oriented geocaches placed by MiGO members as a tribute to the Metroparks Geocaching Adventure series.

Event Schedule:
10AM - registration
10:30AM-new geocache coordinates distributed
1PM- pot luck lunch
3PM- CITO --end of event!

Lunch will be potluck. We'll provide hot dogs and drinks--please bring these items based on your team name:
A-F : vegetables / fruit / dip
G-M: side dishes / pasta / salads
N-S: chips / munchies
T-Z: desserts / sweets

PLEASE TRY TO LOG YOUR "WILL ATTEND" BY FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 4TH ALONG WITH THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE ATTENDING WITH YOUR TEAM. WE NEED A FINAL COUNT TO ASSURE SUFFICIENT FOOD AND SUPPLIES. THANK YOU!

We wish to thank the Metroparks for graciously donating this shelter for our event.
This event is being held at Indian Springs, a part of the Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority park system (at the North Meadowlark Shelter). The park is open daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, April through November 3; 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM November 4 through March. Pets are not allowed in this part of the park. Metropark Vehicle Entry Permit is required: Annual Permit $20, Senior Permit $12, Daily Permit $4.
