Geocache Description:

Typical ammo container. Hidden from plain sight.

This cache is located at the site of the old Bear Island Hotel. There is a postcard photo of the hotel back in its heyday located in the cache (please do not take the photo). This hotel was a big tourist destination back in the early 1900s, but now is just a bunch of left over stuff from where it burned to the ground in 1934. If you explore around, you can locate the site of the old tennis court and the old maintenance barn.
