Geocache Description:

Could the log book be used in a way not to waste space on the paper. Don't have to go out and replace as often, (lazy me) and be told when the paper is getting low.
Was a nice 2L box until I found the hiding place that was in the way of a car had been set alight again and evidence of the cache over the floor. Now something smaller that that hopefully will not be found by the local yoof, looks the part anyway.

The published coordinents are not where the cache is.

They are a start of a footpath the other side of the railway line.
You get to this point by walking along a narrow path by the fence and under the archway.
Looking at google maps this footpath goes to Radley and comes out on the road between Radley and lower Radley. Looks like you follow the fence line around the lake and go up a path between the fields and could make your way to the Radley train station back down the main road and to Thrupp lane and lakes (where you can do some caching).

After cache 5 you have just done this ends up on the track bed after a bit more walking, without the rails anymore, but the large stones that are on railway lines. Not so good for small children now and if you have trainers on. I did this in walking boots and was hard going.

The branch track was lifted in the late 1980s. (visit link)

To get the actual cache you need the 5 numbers collected and drop into the coordinents.

N51 40.ABC W001 14.4DE.

Another option would be to go right at the published coordinents and walk along the path by the railway line metal fence and go under the 2nd archway and turn left and keep going in that general direction when path choices come up and if done correct will be at the Thames tow path just before the big iron bridge. Go right in the Abingdon direction all the way back to near the Abbey Meadows where many caches are within reach. Also doing this option takes you past my Thames Towpath cache along by the river.

Got some waypoints set up for these options so you can see the points on google maps easy.
