Geocache Description:

The Linton Long walk series is for the die hard hikers. It is a series of 9 caches on a 7 mile walk exploring the Weald. The route is particularly beautiful at blossom time when the western section comes alive with colour. The eastern section of this walk passes through the parkland of Linton and Boughton Monchelsea, where the great house is set in a deer park.
The walk passes very close to Church Micro 803 - Linton and Church Micro 804 - Boughton Monchelsea So you may want to pick them up on your way round!
We recommend that at least 4 hours are set aside to complete the whole walk. The circular trail is mainly along footpaths and quiet country lanes, some of which cross the busy A229 or pass rivers and lakes, so keep an eye on dogs and children. In the summer long sleeved shirts and long trousers are recommended as brambles and nettles in places may be quite high.
Many of the paths can be quite muddy even in the summer so good boots are recommended. Explorer maps 136 and 148 might help with navigation, however additional waypoints are provided below to help guide you along the route.

Make sure you take your own writing implement as many of the caches don't contain anything for you to write with. Also make a note of the numbers in each cache as you will need these later to find the bonus.

You are looking for a 35mm Film canister.

Your route:
From LLW #1 continue along the Greensand way until you reach the road. If you were going to attempt Church Micro 804 now is the time to do it. You then need to proceed to entrance of the chestnut grove (Waypoint 2A), through which the greensand way continues. Continue following the path across the car park and into the field beyond. Once you have crossed the drive for Boughton Monchelsea place had towards the coordinates for the cache.
