The cache is not at the posted coords. You must first solve the
puzzle. Stealth required. Log only, BYOP.
How does the puzzle obsession begin? It begins innocently enough,
playing hangman with Grandma while waiting for dinner to be ready,
helping Dad with the Times Crossword puzzle on a lazy Sunday
afternoon. You love to play Risk with your friends and secretly
spend all night playing solitaire with a flashlight under the
bedcovers. You save cereal boxtops for months to send away for the
Captain Crusader decoder ring. You take turns with your little
brother writing each other notes in code using invisible ink. You
never mind having to help him decode your gibberish.
When you grow up and have kids, your son wants to know who broke
his "Simon" game and what happened to the button on his N64
controller. Whose name did those mystery initials on the tetris
high score board belong to, your daughter wants to know. That must
have taken them hours to get a score that high, she exclaims!
Before you know it you are doing Sudoku at red lights and reading
"Cryptonomicon" for fun before bed. You know Morse code frontwards
and backwards by ear and sight. You can translate ROT-13 in your
sleep while dreaming of winning a gold medal at the geo-olympics.
Tic tac toe grids look like pigpens. Hours go by like minutes while
you solve the newest mystery cache, the bags under your eyes
holding all the secrets of the ITP series. Your partner does not so
much as flinch as you don rain gear and headlamp, leaving in the
middle of the night to drive the 75 miles round trip just to see if
you are right. She helps you pick up the pages of your 4 inch thick
"solved, I think" puzzle notebook as they scatter while you are
running out the door, in case you have time to find more than
one.
Well I have a puzzle for you and good luck, because you see, it may
make no sense to anyone but me, but this is my brain on
puzzles.
