Labor Day

Like most of the Red Herring caches, this one is definitely NOT at the posted coords- the highway entrance to Rehoboth Beach!

Well it seems that the Red Herrings have been busy this summer. One escaped and was rescued, one is still on the net, some have been on the beach, one took off for Milford, and a lot of them have been sliced & diced (ugh!). But it appears that for the most part, they are just doing their own thing- that is being Red Herrings.

And with the summer season winding down, they thought that Labor Day would be a good time for a family reunion picnic. They even invited a close cousin that they haven't seen in a long time. So they put together this holiday puzzle and all you have to do is show up, mingle, and get to know this great group of Red Herrings …maybe! Come join them for a burger & a beer and you just might get a hint. At first, none of the Red Herrings wanted to attend the reunion but in the nick of time one of them made a mad dash and showed up here. He agreed to point the way to the reunion. He knew that a certain Sussex County cacher would try to re-capture him, another Sussex County cacher would try to slice & dice him, a certain northern DE cacher would be disappointed if he didn't, and that a certain MD/DE cacher expects him to be here- multiple times!!

Clues can be anywhere and of course, when you find the reunion, watch out for the whole family of Red Herrings - maybe! Oh, and have fun.
