There is Nijo Castle near Horikawa 2(Ni)jo.
The early building of Nijo Castle was built in 1603 by Tokugawa Ieyasu, the first shogun of Tokugawa reign, as his villa in Kyoto.
A small river flows near cache.
Water came to be able to be poured by Horikawa in March this year, and to get off in the river area.
Walking is happy.
Cherry blossoms can be seen in spring.
Please go sightseeing.

世界遺産にも登録されている歴史的建造物です。
堀川は、、以前「水のない川」でしたが、整備が行われ復活しました。
せせらぎが戻り、遊歩道も完備され憩いの場となりました。
