Indian Lookout Point.
The container is an ammo box. The closest parking area is Pioneer Town from where you can walk along the Blanco River down River Road until you get close to the trail head which you need to take to find the cache. On your way to the cache you will have a great view of the Blanco River from what is known as Indian Lookout Point.
To prevent "muggles" from taking the ammo box, it is secured with a bike lock. As such, when you close the latch, please close it with the cable lock coming out of the bottom of latch. That will ensure no rain water gets inside the ammo box. Thanks and Happy hunting.
We performed maintenance on the cache on June 28, 2014 and added lots of swag and the Happy Couple Travel Bug (see photo dated June 28, 2014). All is in good shape and cache is in area not often hiked so it should be safe for travel bugs.
