Architectonic granites Multi-cache

The Pink Granite Coast is famous for its granites rocks, architectured by natural forces (see the earthcache Pink Granite Coast [GC1V4YY] by "monster308"). Man, as usual, placed its own architectures (private, public, military or clerical) in the landscape. The cache can help discover them, in addition to providing the usual spectacular touristic experience of this part of the Brittany coast. Don't expect to be the only one to walk along the "Custom Patrol Path".

The coordinate P1 : N48 50.127 W3 28.813 correspond to the local parking, not suitable for camping cars and rapidly full in summer or weekends. An alternative parking can be found at point P2 : N48 49.920 W3 29 29.110

• At the first waypoint WP1 : N48 50.172 W3 29.044, count the number A of devils.
• From there, go near the Men Ruz lighthouse at point WP2 : N48 50.243 W3 28.995 and count the number B of stairs going to the "basement".
• Then go to point WP3 : N48 50.191 W3 28.700 and count the number C of openings in the small sentry hut, used by soldiers or custom guards to warn of incoming ships trying to illegally reach the coast.
• Finally at point WP4 : N48 49.985 W3 28.564 count the number of steps D to be base of the calvary.

If you interested you can go a little further on the path of reach the point WW : N48 49.885 W3 28.447 where the Pink Granites leave place to another kind of rocks, 1400 millions years older.

The cache is situated at point N48 49.(A*D)(B/A)C W3 28.C(B/C)(B/D) in a granite environment. Going to the cache requires walking among rocks : be careful and watch after the younger geosearchers!

La Côte de Granite Rose est une destination touristique célèbre pour ses rochers aux architectures naturelles remarquables (voir la cache géologique Pink Granite Coast [GC1V4YY] par "monster308"). L'Homme y a bien sûr implanté ces propres architectures (qu'elles soient destinées à un usage privé, public, militaire ou religieux). Cette cache pour permettra d'en découvrir quelques unes en complément de la contemplation des paysages variés qui ont fait la réputation (et la fréquentation) de ce bout du sentier des douaniers (et du GR34!).

Les coordonnées P1 : N48 50.127 W3 28.813 correspondent au parking le plus proche (inacessible aux camping cars et parfois saturée l'été ou les dimanches après-midi!). Un stationnement alternatif est possible au point P2 : N48 49920 W3 29.110

• Au point WP1 : N48 50.172 W3 29.044 , comptez le nombre A de diables.
• Puis rejoignez la proximité du phare Men Ruz au point WP2 : N48 50.243 W3 28.995 et comptez le nombre B de marches pour descendre à la "cave".

• Ensuite allez trouver le nombre C d'ouvertures de la guérite d'observation au point WP3 : N48 50.191 W3 28.700 qui permettait aux militaires et douaniers de protéger cette partie de la côte des débarquements illicites.
• Enfin, comptez le nombre D de degrés supportant la base du calvaire au point WP4 : N48 49.985 W3 28.564.

Si cela vous intéresse, vous pouvez poursuivre le long du sentier jusqu'à l'endroit WW : N48 49.885 W3 28.447 où le granite rose fait place au gneiss de Tréberden, roche plus ancienne que le granit rose de 1400 millions d'années franchies en quelques centimètres!

La cache se trouve au point N48 49.(A*D)(B/A)C W3 28.C(B/C)(B/D) parmi des rochers de granit rose qu'il faudra franchir! Restez prudent et surveillez les éventuels géochercheurs en herbe!
