Geocache Description:

A standard film canister hidden near the railway station.

About Side Tracked We have Motorway Mayhem. But what about public transport users ? SideTracked caches are intended to provide quick Cache and Dashes at Train Stations. It is hoped this idea will spread across the country in the same way as the MMs.... If hiding one PLEASE BE SENSIBLE and remember that in this day and age, pulic
transport is under greater scrutiny that ever before, so, although these caches should be quick and easy grabs, PLEASE don't place a Cache where it could cause alarm.

Liskeard station is on the Cornish Main Line, west of Plymouth, and is also the junction for The Looe Valley Line, leading to the seaside town of Looe. The station was built in 1859 and services the town of Liskeard, Cornwall. The railway station has an unusual layout, with The Looe Valley Line leaving from a seperate platform, at right angles to the main line. The Station retains its semaphore signaling, worked
from a signal box at the East side of the main platform. This is
still in use today. As the station is on the main line to London
Paddington, and other cross country routes, Liskeard station has become one of the busiest stations in Cornwall, with over 1/4 million passengers a year. This is a quick cache and dash.

Beware - high muggle numbers within this area.
