Geocache Description:

Broad Street, the centre of Birmingham's night life!!

Sorry but it's a Nano!! This cache it at the back of, and towards to bottom of a black bollard. Should be accessable to all, however wheelchair users may require a hand to remove from the base of the bollard.

PLEASE TAKE CARE WITH MINI-CACHERS AS THERE ARE TRAFFIC RELATED DANGERS NEAR BY!!

Look around you!
Over 200 years old, these canals were once the life blood of Birmingham. They carried raw materials and finished goods in and out of the city. Following a period of the decline, the area has now been transformed. All developments that you can see are part of a continuing plan to renew Birmingham's City Centre with new attractions, rebuilding and improving the canal side environment.

Alongside new offices, shops, pubs and hotels you can find many reminders of the canals' busy past, when they were at the forefront of the Inductrial Revolution and Birmingham's Prosperity. Now once again that are helping to create a vibrant, bustling, attractive city centre for the benefit of everybody who visits, lives or works here.

The above information was taken from a Tourist Information point within 100m of the cache to give any visitors some local knowledge.
