Zavod miru - 1982

Ceska verze:
Zavod miru projizdel Harrachovem nekolikrat, ale v roce 1987 (tenkrat se jelo v poradi Berlin - Praha - Varsava) se do historie zapsal opravdu nezapomenutelnou etapou, tedy spis zaverem etapy. Byla to 9. etapa - casovka jednotlivcu, ktera merila 22 km a jeji cil byl na vrcholu vedle doskociste skokanskeho mustku. V tom nejprudsim miste uz na silnici nelezi asfalt, ale pouze beton. Kvuli sklonu to tam totiz neslo uvalcovat :-).
Co si pamatuju (byl jsem tenkrat skolou povinne decko), tak nekteri cykliste sesedavali a brali kolo do rukou a po cyklokrosarsku to s nim vybehli. Jini to zkouseli vyjet a padali z kol a proklinali toho, kdo tuhle silenost vymyslel.
Nakonec tuto etapu, stejne jako cely ZM'87, vyhral zavodnik z NDR Uwe Ampler. A jeste dlouho potom se sem sjizdelo hodne cyklistu, co si to chtelo na vlastni kuzi vyzkouset.
Vy si to zkuste alespon vyjit/vybehnout a pak napiste, co na to vase nohy ;-)

English version:
The Peace Race went through Harrachov several times. The one, edition held in 1987 was connecting cities Berlin - Warsaw via Prague, had unforgetable finish of lap. It was the end of 9th lap in Harrachov. The individual time trial, length 22km, the lap finish was on the top next to the landing pit of ski jump. In the worst part of the course there isn´t an asphalt only concrete. It was impossible to roll asphalt flat because of declension :-).
As I remember (I was in a school age) some bikers had taken their bike off and ran up with their bikes in hands in the cyclocross style. The others tried to rode the hill up but they fell down and railed against the race course builder.
This lap won headed biker Uwe Ampler from Germany who was finally winner of whole race in 1987. From that time many bikers have become to this place and they try themselves to ride it up.
So, try yourself this "finish" - walk, run, ride - whatever and let me know how do you feel ;-)

Krabicku jsem zameroval nekolikrat a docela dlouho a GPS me pritom hlasila presnost ±3.5 metru :-) ... nicmene pocitam, ze vas to potahne kousek nekam jinam. Pouzijte tedy svoji geointuici ;-)
