Geocache Description:

Entrance

Welcome to Hotel Jadran

The cache is not placed at the given coordinates, but it is not very far away. Just go to a place where you could once get a drink.

Hotel Jadran is an old hotel that was built in early 1950s and was the first newly built hotel after World War II in communist Yugoslavia. War prisoners were used as workforce. Jadran is the Croatian/Bosnian/Montenegrin/Serbian name for the Adriatic Sea. One of the first guests was Josip Broz Tito, president of Yugoslavia. The hotel is now deserted and mother nature is taking over.

Why this is a mystery/unknown cache:
This cache was placed by Swedish cachers. In Sweden there are some local rules decided by the Swedish reviewers. A cache that is placed where there is no GPS reception shall have the type Unknown, and the question mark shall be placed at the entrance. We thought these were global rules, therefore this cache is of type Unknown even though it does not need to be.

Here is a spoiler picture if you need one.
