Geocache Description:


Before the A3 was built the main London - Portsmouth Road went through Milford. Since the new A3 was built several local roads have been changed.

Some, like Lower Mousehill Lane, got bridges; Some got truncated like Webb Road; others were cut in half like Lea Coach Road

This micro-cache takes you to a road that was cut in half. As you approach this cache you can see the history of the road with white lines and cat’s eyes in the road from when it was a 'major' road.

Included as the first entry on the log is are the co-ordinates for a bonus cache. You don't need to go onto the A3 for this or the bonus cache: don’t believe your GPS if it sends you up there! Both are safe for pedestrians. You can park pretty close to both of these. This, and the bonus, are log only - you'll need a pen.

If you need a clue for the final bonus cache location find a Vigenere Cypher table and use the first cache road name. If you need even more help ask a well known search engine to point you to Sharky's Vigenere Engine and that will do it online.
