Be sure to visit Bloomsburg’s newest 5 Star resort, located a within 200 metres of the trailhead and about 5m from the trail. (Don’t tell the locals: it might affect the property values). Raise the roof to enter.
START OF THE NORFOLK TO NORFOLK TB RACE
The lodge is divided into 2 sections:
1. The “Happy Room” (silver) is where the “Tradables” hang out.
2, The “Ottawa Room” (gold) is for “Trackables” - coins, bugs, etc. Our first 4 guests are alredy there.
Come on down, visit, trade, drop off, kick back and relax. I gave this cache a “P.I.” attribute, which could stand for either “pretty impressive” or “poison ivy”. Once you visit this resort, the management hopes you will agree with the former, and hopefully find none of the latter (although it has been seen in this area - long pants might be a good idea).
Like the grand old CN/CP Hotels (eg Banff Springs, Jasper, etc), the BB/TB Resort is located on an old train line. There are many other caches along the Simcoe-Waterford stretch that may be of interest to you.
