Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT in Vail Lake at the posted coordinates. Please BYOP.

Remember these rides at amusement parks? The riders entered a large circular chamber and leaned against padded walls. The chamber was then rotated around 30 rev/min. Once at speed, the operator dropped the floor and because of centrifugal force, the riders were pinned against the wall. It was great fun to feel the effect of increased gravity.

Some of the more famous rides were and may still be called the Cajun Cliffhanger, the Gravitron, and Starship 2000. Sadly in the earlier days of this ride, several people were hurt but I believe those rides have been since modified or retired. I remember riding one of these several times and found them to be one of my favorites.



A ride such as this can make the body quite dizzy. Below is a link to a puzzle which might make your eyes feel like they are spinning madly in your head. Small trade items.
