TravelBug resort and DVD store
This is a very secure cache designed specifficaly to hold
Travelbugs and Geocoins, a SPA for these small creatures so
they can rest and enjoy their stay in Argentina.
If you have a travelbug, bring it to our safe travelbug resort
and if he likes it leave him for a while. It's very safe against
geomuggles and the stay is free! He'll rest here and then continue
his journey.
Also, this
geocache is also a DVD trade center, you can bring your DVDs and
exchange them for others. Far better than going to
Blockbuster or even easier and cheaper than downloading DVDs and
burning them!
And finally, to this date and to our knowledge this is the biggest
cache you'll find in Argentina. This cache is part of the

This cache has been recently upgraded.
It contains over 30 DVD movies and a minumum of 5 travel bugs.
To trade items you must stricly follow these
rules:
For DVDs: Take up to 5 DVDs for free!
There's no obligation to leave DVDs in exchange, although its
greatly appreciated if you leave high quality DVDs, or if later you
return the movies you have taken. Please help the collection
grow!
For travel bugs and geocoings: You can only take a TB
or GC if you leave one or more in exchange. Do not take a TB
and leave a GC in exchange.
This TB hotel
will only survive if it has TBs in it, so, to promote and enforce
this rule:
- If you leave more TBs than those you take: you will be added to
the hall of fame section of this
page.
- But, if you take TBs and don't leave at least an equal number
behind, you will be added to our brand new hall of shame.

When to search for the cache
When searching for this cache
please avoid busy moments such as weekends, as this area
gets really crowded with geomuggles.
In Argentina the Geocaching is not yet a game as popular as in
other countries, and is common that geomuggles steal caches just
for fun. So, please search and pick up the cache when no one is
looking, and later leave the cache the same way. Always try to
pass unnoticed.
Also, when opening this cache be very careful of a police car
that passes on this road every few hours. They must not see you
with the cache opened, nor in a suspicious attitude, or you and the
cache may get into trouble. If the police car is going to pass, you
must see it beforehand and act accordingly.
Cache Location
At the park, some meters
away from the Anchorena Station you'll find the cache. Its a medium
sized box that contains some travelbugs and geocoins, and many
items and gifts. Once you find this box you'll need this number:
0823. Please write it down and have it in handy.
Once you find the cache please sign the log giving us your
opinion and any comments you like, and feel free to leave your TBs
and TCs, and take anything you want. Just remember to always
leave something of equal or greater value!
About Tren de la costa and the Anchorena Station
The "Tren de la
costa" is a touristic train that unites more that 15 km (9
miles) of the coast through stations every couple km/mi. Each
station offers various forms of entertainment and enjoyment for
both adults and children, excellent views of the Downtown Buenos
Aires coastline and much more.
Each of these "turn of the century" picturesque stations has a
charm of it's own, and many have history and art displays, plazas,
cafes, antique shops, movies, boutiques and restaurants. The ride
ends in Tigre, on the shores of the beautiful and mystic Delta.
From there, it is possible to visit the Puerto de Frutos (an
ideal place to get souvenirs and gifts), the Parque de la Costa (an
amusement park) or take a ferry to get deep into the labyrinthine
islands.
These series of caches take advantage of these stations, as they
act as a linear mall where you can hop from station to
station with the same ticket, and search the sourroundings of each
station for one of these caches.
Anchorena Station has a nearby park that borders the river. It
has some nice views of downtown Buenos Aires.
To get to the Tren de la Costa, get to the Maipú or Libertador
Station, they are the ones that are nearer to downtown Buenos
Aires.

Este es un cache muy seguro, diseñado específicamente para los
Travelbugs y Geocoins, un SPA para estas pequeñas criaturas que
les permiten descansar y disfrutar de su estadía en
Argentina.
Si tienes un travelbug, traelo a nuestro SPA, y si le
gusta déjalo. Es muy seguro contra los geomuggles y la estadía es
gratis! Podrá descansar para luego continuar su viaje.
Este geocache es
también un centro de intercambio de DVDs, puedes traer tus DVDs
y cambiarlos por otros. ¡Mucho mejor que ir al viedoclub o
incluso mas comodo y barato que bajar una pelicula y
quemarla!
Y finalmente, al día de hoy y según sabemos, este es el cache mas
grande que encontrarás en Argentina. No te pierdas de
visitarlo!

Para intercambiar items del cache debes seguir las siguientes

Para los DVDs:
Puedes retirar hasta 5 DVDs gratis! No hay
obligación de dejar otros DVDs a cambio, aunque se agradece de
sobremanera si dejas otros DVDs de alta calidad o si otro dia
devuelves los DVDs que has retirado. Por favor ayuda a que la
colección crezca!
Para travel bugs y geocoings:
Solo puedes retirar un TB o GC si dejas uno o mas a
cambio.
Este Spa para travelbugs solo va a sobrevivir si tiene TBs en
él. Por lo tanto:
- Si dejas mas TBs que los que te llevas serás agregado a nuestra
nueva sección 'hall de la fama'.
- Pero, si te llevas mas TBs de los que dejas serás agregado de
manera permanente a nuestra nueva sección 'hall
de la verguenza'.
Cuando buscar el cache
Al buscar este cache por favor
evita momentos de alta actividad como los fines de semana,
esta área se llena por completo de geomuggles.
En Argentina el Geochacing todavía no es tan popular como en
otros paises, y es comun que los geomuggles roben los cachés por
simple diversión. Por lo tanto, por favor busca y recoge el
cache cuando nadie esté mirando, y luego deja el caché tal cual
como lo encontraste. Siempre intenta pasar
desapecibido.
También, al abrir este cache ten cuidado de que no te vea un
auto de policia que pasa por la calle cada tantas horas. No
debe verte con el cache abierto ni en una actitud sospechosa, de lo
contrario tu y el cache podrían tener problemas. Si va a pasar el
auto de policia tienes que darte cuenta antes y disimular bien.
Ubicación del Cache
En el parque, a unos
pocos metros de la estación, encontrarás este cache. Es una caja de
tamaño medio que contiene algunos travelbugs y geocoins, y muchos
items y pequenos regalos. Una vez que encuentres la caja
necesitarás este número: 0823. Por favor agéndalo y tenlo a
mano.
Una vez que encuentres el caché por favor firma la bitácora,
dejándonos tu opinión y cualquier comentario que tengas. Y sientete
libre de dejar tus TB y GC, y llevarte lo que quieras. Eso si,
recuerda siempre dejar algo de igual o mayor valor!
Sobre el Tren de la costa y la estación Anchorena
El Tren de la
costa es un tren turístico que une mas de 15 km de costa a
través de estaciones a cada pocos km. Cada estación ofrece varias
formas de entretenimiento y diversión tanto para adultos como
niños, excelentes vistas de la costa de la ciudad y mucho
mas.
Cada estación tiene un estilo de principios del siglo XX y un
ambiente particular. Muchas tienen paseos de arte, plazas, cafes,
venta de antiguedades, cines, boutiques y restauranes. El circuito
finaliza en Tigre, sonbre la costa del hermoso y místico Delta.
Desde allí, es posible visitar el Puerto de Frutos (un
lugar ideal para comprar souvenirs y regalos, a buen precio), el
Parque de la Costa
(un parque de diversiones) o tomar un catamarán para ir a la
profundidad de las laberínticas islas.
Esta serie de caches tomas provecho de estas estaciones, ya
que las mismas actúan como un centro comercial lineal donde
puedes ir de estación a estación con un único pasaje, y buscar
en los alrededores de cada estación uno de estos
caches.
La estación de Anchorena se encuentra al lado de un parque que
bordea el rio. Posee unas muy buenas vistas del centro de la
ciudad.
Para llegar al tren de la costa, llega a la estación de Maipú
o Libertador, son las que están mas cerca del centro de Buenos
Aires.
