Deutsch: Alternativer Stadtrundgang durch die Nürnberger Altstadt mit einem kleinen Rätsel. Die Tour kann sowohl zu Fuß als auch mit Rädern gemacht werden. Die kürzeste Wegstrecke beträgt insgesamt ca. 2,5 Kilometer.
English: This is a somewhat different kind of sightseeing tour through the old town of Nuremberg. It can either be done by foot or by bicycle. The shortest possible route is about 2.5 kilometers long. English description below.

Nicht nur der Cache ist das Ziel, sondern ich möchte euch mit den einzelnen Wegpunkten auf etwas Bestimmtes aufmerksam machen, das mir irgendwann aufgefallen ist. Was? Nun, das werdet ihr schon herausbekommen.
Begebt euch nun auf die Suche nach dem Käschlein. Um die Finalkoordinaten zu ermitteln müsst ihr zunächst 8 Stationen ablaufen:

Die Reihenfolge ist zwar prinzipiell egal aber ich empfehle trotzdem die obengenannte. Nach den ersten beiden Stationen sollte euch dann eigentlich klar sein, was ihr zu suchen habt. Das kleine Rätsel für den Final lautet folgendermaßen:
Um in den Norden zu gelangen müßt ihr im SOMMER den KREUZWEG gehen; trefft dabei HANS SACHS und Kurt KLUTENTRETER.
Der Osten ist HIER garantiert keine ERHOLUNG, denn der DENKRAUM im LABYRINTH ist eure Bestimmung.
Für die Berechnung nehmt folgende Koordinaten:
Nord: 49°26.724
Ost: 011°04.113
und rechnet entsprechend der Aufgabe jeweils 4 Werte zu Nord und Ost dazu. Daraus ergeben sich die Finalkoordinaten. Der Empfang ist dort, wie so häufig in der Stadt, nicht allzu gut. Also gut peilen, dann klappt es schon. Der Final hat leider thematisch nichts mit den Wegpunkten zu tun, ein entsprechendes Versteck war nicht zu finden. Somit hierfür wieder die "Augen geradeaus" und am besten um die Ecke geblickt.

Leider könnt ihr nix tauschen, dafür langt der Platz nicht.
Jetzt folgen noch ein paar touristische Infos, die für die Einheimischen wahrscheinlich ein alter Hut und für die Schatzsuche unwichtig sind:

Das Kulturzentrum K4, schräg gegenüber der auffällige Hauptbahnhof, bietet sich auch als Startpunkt für einen Besuch der Nürnberger Altstadt an. Vorher können sich Auswärtige in der Touristinformation noch letzte Tipps für ihren Aufenthalt besorgen.

Vor dem Bildungszentrum Nürnberg stehend befindet ihr euch nun auf dem Gewerbemuseumsplatz. Interessant sind die nach oben verglasten Reste der früheren Marientormauer, die bei Ausgrabungen des heutigen Parkhauses zu Tage getreten sind.

Ihr steht vor dem Narrenschiff, einem Kunstwerk von Jürgen Weber. Die Skulptur des Brunnens geht auf die Holzschnitte von Albrecht Dürer zurück, die er 1494 für den Druck des Buches "Daß Narrenschyff ad Narragoniam" schuf.

Der Unschlittplatz erlangte überregionale Bekanntheit, als am 26. Mai 1828 Kaspar Hauser auftauchte und an der Ecke des Hauses Nr. 8 zwei Nürnberger ansprach. Außerdem befinden sich am Unschlittplatz ein paar mittelalterliche Baudenkmäler, die mehr als eines Blickes wert sind.

Ihr seid am Jakobsplatz zwischen zwei großen Kirchen, der Jakobskirche im Süden und der Elisabethkirche nördlich des Platzes. Interessant ist vor allem die unterschiedliche Architektur. Der Elisabethkirche, eines der wenigen klassizistischen Bauwerke in Nürnberg, steht der spätgotische Stil der Jakobskirche gegenüber.

Nun befindet ihr euch zwischen dem Ehekarusell und dem weißen Turm, dessen Name sich vom ursprünglich weißen Putz ableitet. In Folge der Nachkriegsrenovierung wurde der Putz entfernt und damit auch die Namensgrundlage. Über das Ehekarusell könnt ihr vor Ort einiges nachlesen.

Hier in der Straße der Menschenrechte seht ihr 27 weiße Säulen von acht Metern Höhe, zwei Bodenplatten und eine Säuleneiche. Jedes dieser Elemente trägt in Kurzform einen der Menschenrechtsartikel in deutscher und einer anderen Sprache.

Am Ende seid ihr direkt an der Lorenzkirche, erbaut ab 1250 und seit 1525 evangelisch-lutherisch. Die Lorenzkirche bietet neben der großartigen Architektur eine Fülle von Kunstwerken. Ein Besuch lohnt sich.

The name of this cache "Stadtgogerer" is a franconian slang word representing somebody who is strolling around the city looking for something specific...
Aside from the final cache itself I want to show you something special that attracted my attention at each of the waypoints listed below. Curious what it is? Well, I'm sure you're going to figure it out by yourself.
Now, let's go hunting down that cache. To obtain the coordinates of the final cache you need to visist the following 8 waypoints:

While it doesn't really matter in what order you are going to visit the waypoints, I would recommend to do so in the order given above. Pretty soon you should get an idea of what you are looking for. The puzzle is as follows:
To reach the north you have to follow the way of the cross (KREUZWEG) in summer (SOMMER). Thereby you will meet HANS SACHS and Kurt KLUTENTRETER.
Here (HIER) in the east there is no time for recreation (ERHOLUNG) as the boulevards of thoughts (DENKRAUM) are your destination in the LABYRINTH.
To calculate the location of the final cache, start with the following coordinates:
north: 49°26.724
east: 011°04.113
and add the 4 appropriate values to the north and the east part of the coordinates according to the above puzzle.
Unfortunately the final location doesn't really fit to what you will find at the waypoints. However, there just wasn't a better hiding place in the middle of the city. In case you should have trouble getting a good gps signal just look ahead you never know what's around the next corner.

The cultural center K4, which can be found diagonally opposite the eye-catching main train station, is an ideal starting point for a visit to Nurembergs old town. Here, out-of-towners may get some additional information for their stay at the tourist information.

You're now standing in front of Nurembergs center of learning which is right next to the place of the trade museum (Gewerbemuseumsplatz). Be sure to notice the vitrified remains of the former wall of the Marientor, which have been exposed while building a new parking house.

You're looking at the ship of fools (Narrenschiff), a piece of art by Juergen Weber. The sculpture of the well is based on some of Albrecht Duerers woodcarvings, which he used in 1494 as a letterpress for the book "Dass Narrenschyff ad Narragoniam".

The Unschlittenplatz is a square which became famous as Kaspar Hauser arrived here on the 26th of may in 1828 and talked to two of Nurembergs residents at the corner of house number 8. In addition the square offers some medival monuments.

You've arrived at the Jakobsplatz, a square located between two churches, the church of Jakob (Jakobskriche) in the north and the church of Elisabeth (Elisabethkirche) in the south of the square. Note the different kind of architectural styles. While the Jakobskirche was built in late gothic style, the Elisabthkirche is one of the few neo-classical buildings in Nuremberg.

You should now be standing between the Ehekarussell, a metallic fountain showing six interpretations of marriage, and the white tower, which got its name from the white plaster it initially had but which was removed during the postwar renovation.

In the street of human rights you can see 27 white pillars each of which is 8 meters high, two memorial baseplates as well as a special tree. Each of them shows a short version of one of the human rights articles in German as well as in another language.

Your final destination is a church called Lorenzkirche. It was built in 1250 and since 1525 it is Protestant-Lutheran. The Lorenzkirche offers an interesting architecture as well as numerous works of art. It is well worth a visit.
