(Formerly Basil's Birthday Bash) It'sa uber long weekend celebrating Agent Basil Day (on the 4th). Here's my gift to you. The new Cascades trail at Tidbinbilla. A beaut walk accessed from the Camel's Hump Car Park. It links with the Lyrebird trail. - Cascades is actually 1.6 k while Lyrebird is 2.7k. Cascades is rated as challenging by the Park but it is a trail all the way, with many rock steps - certainly not suited to strollers and I think small children would need to be closely supervised.
Cache is now just a little further off the track - less than 15m so no bush bashing despite the cache title. You could link to the other nearby caches along the camelback fire trail however my day of cache planting had gale-force winds, much snow on the ground and also falling so I chickened out. The other caches do require steep off track climbs.
