Geocache Description:

This cache was placed as a starting point for my James Bond related Geocoin - 'Quantum of caching - Licence to Cache' Geocoin. This cache is close to The White House, St Margarets Bay, where Ian Fleming wrote the first Bond Novel -Casino Royale, in 1951.

This cache is the closest to The White House, St Margaret's Bay, Nr Dover, Kent. (visit link)
Ian Fleming lived here from 1951 and apparently wrote much of Casino Royale (the first Bond novel) here.
Did you know 007 was the number of the bus service that ran between Deal and Dover, passing through St Margaret's Bay! Find out more about Ian Fleming at (visit link)

The coordinates are for a micro cache, that contains the co-ordinates for the final cache, which is currently a regular size ammo box, packed with goodies.

There is ample parking at this lovely location (small charge applies - when the machine is not broken! during high season), a great pub and small snack bar, which is open most of the time is right next to the cache location, as a result the area is usually infested with muggles, so in true Bond style a degree of stealth and ingenuity is required to recover both the micro cache and the final ammo box.

Please rehide both stages of the cache well to avoid it being taken by muggles.

Please be careful when recovering the cache there is no need to climb where there are no steps!

While at the location, if you are feeling adventurous try The Frontline Britain Trail, which is a circular walk starting and finishing near to the cache, in the car park. Rabbit Romp and Dover Patrol caches are both on this short 4 mile walk.

Many thanks - Doyouthinkysaurus
