This cache was spawned from the 2009 Boston Red Sox Roster Series cache (GC1TBZ1) and is placed in honor of one of our favorite Red Sox players, Kevin Youkilis. Park at Reardon Field located off Maymont Drive at N 42° 18.999 W 071° 23.280 . This is one of the Framingham ball fields that my son has played at while participating in Little League. During practices I would sometimes check out the nearby trails. There is a section of the Cochituate Rail Trail located nearby. You can also hike over to the edge of Lake Cochituate from here. The cache you seek is located among the trails in the adjoining Cochituate Brook Reservation. If there is a game going on you need to make sure you cross over to the trail head BEHIND the home plate backstop. In addition to the playing field and trails there is also a nice playground here which makes this a great cache to bring along young kids. Good luck with your hunt and GO SOX!
