A class to share puzzle solving tips and ideas. Time is 6:30-
8:00 on July 29th. Location is the Chantilly branch of the Fairfax County Public Library located at Stringfellow and Rt. 50.
Some people seek out puzzles and some avoid them like the plague. I think the latter group misses out on two things: some fantastic caches and the double victory of the solve and the find. I marvel at some of the creativity of fellow cachers out there and they add value to my caching experience. I hope to give you some tools to enjoy similar experiences.
This evening, we will discuss some generic types of puzzles using some local puzzles and some not so local. We will talk about how to figure out what possible paths to take to solve puzzles and we will share some internet tools that make things a little easier for you.
I will discuss my puzzles for sure. If anyone else wants their puzzle discussed (including the solve!), let me know so I can add it. And if you have any good internet tools that help to solve caches, send them to me via my profile so I can include it in the discussion.
This is a 101 level- maybe 102. If some of my esteemed
puzzle partners attend, you are welcome to chime in. Hope to see you there.
If you mark "will attend", add a topic you want covered, so I can perhaps add it. Kids are welcome but they will be bored.
By no means am I as advanced as some of my friends
but the topic fascinates me but I look forward to facilitating this discussion with you.
