The Florida Spirit Quest series of
geocaches will take you to a number of historic sites and
cemeteries built by Florida Pioneers. In six years, the Spirit
Quest has grown to over 800 caches hidden in Indiana, Ohio,
Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Georgia, Wisconsin, and Ontario
and the hiders have grown to over fifty cacher teams. Thousands of cacher teams have logged over 50,000 finds on
these series.

Welcome to a Shady Oasis of palm Trees and Oleanders on the
north side of Dunedin Causeway. This spot is sponsored by several
civic groups. We discovered it while fishing and it is an island
that contains a memorial marker..
Here is your mission should you desire to accept it:
Once you find the spot, guided by the listed coordinates, ,
search the Palm Trees for a prominent, but small memorial to a
young Largo Girl who died of complications of diabetes. There is a
photo of the Girl and a poem: "In loving Memory of the Light and
Life of...Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief
Lift up your heart and share it with me
GOD WANTED ME NOW
HE SET ME FREE
To find the coords, take note of this young girl's death date.
Add the number of the month with the number of the day and the last
two digits of the year.
Use that number as "X" in the following equation:
