Vyhlidka cestou na Karlstejn

Pokud cestujete smerem od Revnic na Karlstejn, muzete si udelat zastavku na teto cache, ze ktere budete mit vyhled na siroke okoli Berounky. Zaroven vas muze inspirovat k navsteve dalsich mist. Zacneme kochanim zleva doprava (od vychodu na zapad).

Revnice

Kdy a kym byly Revnice zalozeny, neni nam znamo. Jiste je, ze jde o obec velmi starou. Osidleni pro blizkost reky a moznost lovu i rybolovu zde jiste bylo od nepameti. Nejstarsi archeologicke doklady mame ze starsi doby kamenne. Nejstarsi pisemne zminky o Revnicich jsou ze 12. stol., kdy tato ves patrila klasteru jeptisek svatojirskych. V te dobe jiz zde stal kostel Sv. Mauritia, ktery i s jeho plebanem Konradem venoval roku 1253 kral Vaclav I. nove vzniklemu radu krizovniku s cervenou hvezdou. Z dnesni doby je asi nejvice znamou osobnosti, ktera Revice proslavila, zdejsi rodacka Martina Navratilova.

Zadni Treban

O existenci Zadni Trebane se dovidame v pisemnych materialech z doby na sklonku prvniho tisicileti. Nejde sice jeste o Treban Zadni, ale o Trebane - obce lezici na obou brezich Berounky. Prvni obyvatele tu sidlili jiz davno predtim, nez o nich padla prvni zminka v kralovskych ci knizecich listinach. Panovnik je povazoval za obce prosperujici a daroval je v roce 1000 nove zalozenemu benediktinskemu klasteru. Darovaci listina knizete Boleslava III. je prvnim dokladem o Trebani. V ni panovnik daruje Ostrovskemu klasteru mimo jine i rybare v Drazove, Trebani a Lahovicich. Kdo rad cestuje vlakem, muze se priblizit ke kesi vystupem na zastavce v Zadni Trebani, kudy prochazi zeleznicni trat c. 171 (Praha - Plzen - Cheb).

Hlasna Treban

Hlasna Treban ma velmi podobnou historii jako Zadni Treban, kdy puvodne prameny hovori pouze o jedne Trebani. V 15. stoleti je cast obce blize hradu Karlstejn a pred rekou uvadena jako „Predni“ – cast vzdalenejsi, za rekou, jako „Zadni“. Nedlouho pote byla Predni Treban prejmenovana na „Hlasnou“ – podle robotni povinnosti muzu obce vykonavat strazni a hlasnou sluzbu na vezich a hradbach Karlstejna. Obec je dnes mimo jine znama diky popularni pisni Ivana Mladka "Hlasna Treban je krasna".
Jak na kes: Pokud prijedete autem, ponechte ho na waypointu PARKING. Jako vychozi bod pro stoupani ke kesi doporucuji zvolit waypoint START. Cesta vede prirodou strme do do kopce, volte tomu odpovidajici obleceni.

If you are travel from Revnice to Karlstejn, you can make a break at this cache. You may have the view of wide scene of Berounka. At the same time you can be inspired to visit other near locations. Let's start to look around from left to right side (from east to west)

Revnice

When and whom were Revnice based, it is not exactly known. It is certain, that is is very old village. Because of the river is not so far and here is possibility of hunting and fishing, the settlement has been here for long time. The oldest archeological finds we have from Stone Age. The first written reference about Revnice are from 12th century, when the village belonged to St.George's Convent. At the time there already was St. Mauritius church. King Vaclav I. donated in 1253 the church to newly established monastic order. Currently the famous person from Revnice is Martina Navratilova.

Zadni Treban

The first information about Zadni Treban is in written documents from the period at the end of first millenium. It is not currently called Zadni Treban, but Trebane - villages lying on both sides of Berounka. First people settlement has been here long time before first information in written documents. Lord is seen as a prosperous community and donated in 1000 newly created Benediktin's monastery. Deed of gift by Boleslav III. is the first document about Trebane. Who likes train trips, he can get nearer to the cache by getting off in Zadni Treban train stop. Through Zadni Treban is going railway track no. 171 (Praha - Plzen - Cheb).

Hlasna Treban

Hlasna Treban has a similar history like Zadni Treban, because originally documents are only speaking about one Treban. It has been renamed in 15th century the part of village, which is nearer to the Karlstejn castle to the "Predni" (front) and the second part has been called "Zadni" (rear). Not long time after "Predni Treban" has been renamed to "Hlasna" (warning) - according obligation to control neighbourhood of Karlstejn and serve as warning duty. The village is well known by famous song by Ivan Mladek "Hlasna Treban je krasna".
How to achieve the cache: Please leave you car at the waypoing PARKING. I recommend to start the way to the cache from waypoing START. The way is going through country steeply to the hill, choose appropriate clothing.
