Loch?
Equipment needed
- Harness
- rope 60m (weil normales kletter seil kommt erst in 60m länge
und wer es nicht halbieren will muss halt alles mitnehmen.)
- rappel device
- 2-4 carabiners
- sturdy pair of shoes
- GPS
- something to trade
This cache will require some Rappelling knowledge and skills.
This can be done alone (not recommended) or with a caching
partner. Please remember that climbing/rappelling is inheritantly a
dangerous sport. You assume all risks when attempting this
cache.
This cache is a traditional cache requiring you to rappel to the
cache location.
This Cache is named aptly "Der Rote
Kreuz Im Loch" for 2 simple reasons, one is that during the
course of the hunt you will be primarily following the hiking trail
marked with the Red Cross. The other is
that the area is called Im Loch. A little about the location where
you will find yourself. You are located in a small track of land
called "Loch" meaning "hole"which is owned by my wifes' family. The
cliff formations are limestone and offer good climbing. The Cliffs
don't receive any sun that is why the rocks are covered with moss,
which make for difficult and potentially dangerous climbing. No
official routes have been set, some routes have been started but
not completed. You can tell this by the Beullerhacken cemented in
the wall. Please leave the forest as you found it and enjoy the
area. Good luck
that leads up into the fields and continue until you come to a
signpost with various way markers. You want to follow the
"Yellow Cross" or basically head in the
direction of "Kuhfels". At the top of the trail you'll come to a
trailhead and you want to go left. After this stay the course
following the "Red Cross" and you are on
your way.

Dieser Cache wird einige Abseilkenntnisse und Abseilfähigkeiten
verlangen. Dies kann allein (nicht empfohlen) oder mit einem
Caching-Partner geschehen. Bitte beachten Sie, dass das Klettern /
Abseilen ein gefährlicher Sport ist. Sie übernehmen alle Risiken,
wenn Sie versuchen, diesen Cache zu finden. Dieser Cache ist ein
traditioneller Cache! Dieser Cache heißt treffend "Der Rote Kreuz
Im Loch" für 2 einfache Gründe: zum Einen befinden Sie sich
waehrend der Suche nach dem Cache fuer eine lange Strecke auf dem
Wanderweg Rotes Kreuz. Zum Zweiten heisst das Gebiet, in dem sich
der Cache versteckt haelt „Im Loch“. Einige Infos über den Ort, an
dem Sie zu sich befinden. Sie befinden sich auf dem Wanderweg der
Mitten durch das Waldgebiet "im Loch" fuehrt. Die Felsen sind aus
Kalkstein-Formationen und bieten gute Klettergelegenheiten. Die
Felsen liegen sehr schattig, wenig Sonne erreicht sie und deshalb
sind sie sehr mit Moos bewachsen. Fuer Kletterer ist der
Moosbewuchs sehr stoerend.Somit gibt es keine offiziellen
Kletterrouten. An einigen Stellen haben sich Kletterer versucht,
dann aber doch abgebrochen.Zu sehen sind noch einige in den Fels
geschlagene Haken.Bitte verlassen Sie den Wald so, wie es dem
Naturschutz entspricht. So koennen auch noch andere Wanderer die
