The Bunny Rabbit Picnic Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

BBWolf+3Pigs: Sorry folks, but this one needs to be retired. It's too hard to update the puzzle for anew cache location.

The last one was destroyed when the tree it was hiding under was knocked over during Sandy.

Geocache Description:

“We should have a picnic and invite all of our friends,” Fluffy Bunny said to Trixie Bunny. “We’ll phone all the bunnies down in Happy Hollow, and let them know when it will be.”

“What a great idea, Fluff! A picnic would be good for my health, re-energize me, and get me out of these blahs I’ve been in,” Trixie responded.

So the pair of friends made a list of all the little bunnies down in Happy Hollow they would invite to the picnic. Trixie and Fluffy went back and forth, re-editting the list several times, since they couldn’t always agree on who to invite. They also made shopping lists for all of the goodies they wanted to bring.

“Well Fluff, I’ve got the shopping list finished, how’s the invite list coming?”

Fluffy was just putting the finishing touches on the list, and replied, “It won’t be long until its all set. I just want to make sure we didn’t forget anybunny!” The friends did a quick once over, and declared the list finished.

As Fluff called the bunnies on the list, Trixie went shopping. When all of the food was bought, the bunnies made up the baskets for each bunny that was coming. They were sure to put a carrot, a sandwich and a napkin in each basket. “I hope the picnic is even more fun than getting things ready is,” Trixie said with glee.

With all of the tasks done, the little bunnies were even more exited. On each day before the picnic, the friends would check to make sure all was in order. They could hardly wait for the big day.

“If our planning works out, we should have a great turnout, and everybunny will have a great time!” squealed Trixie on the big day.

And a great turn out they had. It was almost as if Trixie had a sixth sense. Everybunny on their list showed up, and everybunny had a great time. There were games of hide-and-seek, and sack races. Bunnies were flying kites and catching up with old friends.

And the food! There was fresh carrots and lettuce, and dandelion greens fresh from Fluff’s garden. “I don’t know if our pear and apple juice will last – everybunny loves it soooo much! said Trixie.

There was no doubt about it – this was even better than they hoped. Except…

It seems that the local group of wolves heard about the picnic. And the wolves invited all of their friends from Wolf Hill for a nice relaxing meal of fresh rabbits.

And that’s exactly what they had.

The End.
