The "Challenge of A Century" caches, becoming popular in
most states, require that a cacher finds at least 100 of a certain
type of cache prior to logging the Challenge cache as
found.
This cache, "The KB Challenge: Ten Centuries - Do It Your
Way" requires the cacher find at least 1,000 of a specific type
of cache, other than "Traditional Cache"

One thousand seems to be a significant number that gives
active cachers a sense of accomplishment.
To log a “Found it” for this cache,
in addition to finding the cache and signing the logbook, you must
have:
Found One Thousand Caches of one type (Traditional
excluded)
Demonstrate this logging requirement any way you see fit;
reference your profile, text in the log, attach an image, create a
Bookmark list, etc.
Finding one thousand caches was once a major milestone.
Now it can be a busy year (or a few months!).
