This cache is my first and for my first I thought that I would start off with something different…a night cache. After completing a night cache placed by shinjix2 in a neighboring town to the south I thought this park would be perfect for this type of cache. Not to mention the volume of people that venture here it would be an added attraction. This cache will require you to show up after sunset to locate.
The difficulty level is primarily terrain based as you will start out on one of the park trails but the cache will be located off the trail which may require some bush-wacking depending on the time of the year. How to collect this night cache: You go to the posted coordinates which is a trail head. Once you get there, you will need a flashlight to search for small reflectors that would otherwise be difficult to find in the daylight. You then follow those reflectors (white and or red) through the woods and they will guide you to your final destination. Look for the tree with multiple markers on it (4 or more) Cache container is pvc pipe, that is partially hidden at ground level. Pretty much just the log and a pencil is inside.
