The Parish Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, West
Mersea
West Mersea Parish Church, in its present form, is believed to date
back to the 10th century but the first church was built on Roman
foundations in the 7th or 8th century. The fabric of the church
contains Roman septaria, bricks and tiles later ragstone and even
later limestone dressing.
You will need to pick up a few clues to find the actual location of
the cache, which can be found at
